Continental Engines has one of the finest foundry set up in the country at its Bhiwadi unit. The facility uses Low Pressure Die Casting as well as Gravity Die Casting processes to produce intricate Single and Multi cavity Aluminum castings weighing from 1 to 30 kg.

The foundry has an installed capacity of 9600 MT per annum. The one ton per hour Striko Westofen bulk melting and holding furnace forms the heart of the foundry where de-gassing and grain refinement ensure the quality of the alloy. Degassing is done by Rotary degassing machine using Nitrogen gas & Gas density process is used to check the Hydrogen content.

Grain refinement and Grain modification is done by AlTi5B1 (Aluminum Titanium Boron) and AlSr (Aluminum Strontium) alloys. Efficient scrubbers, handling and assembly techniques are used to complete the precise moulding process.

The company has complete in-house facility for manufacturing and testing of sand cores using horizontal and vertical parting core shooters. Advanced Pneumatic Decoring machines are used to separate sand cores from casting without affecting its micro-structure to ensure flawless product quality.
